What is Zeduga?
Zeduga is a torrent site that focuses on bringing you fresh and good trance and progressive music. There are lots of releases coming out all the time as well as new radio shows every week. We want to give people an opportunity to share trance music and listen to what they like. If you want to know more, click here.
What are torrents and how to download them?
Torrent is the common name for torrent file (with .torrent extension). Torrents are special metadata files directing to users that have certain data. After loading torrent file into special software (torrent client), it connects you to all users with the prescribed data and downloads it.
Who are seeders/leechers?
A seed (seeder) is a person that has a complete copy of the data of a certain torrent. A leecher (or peer) is a person that is currently downloading the data of a torrent. A leecher does not have the complete file, otherwise it would be called a seed or a seeder.
What is a public/private tracker?
A torrent tracker is a service that assists in the communication between torrent clients. When you open a torrent file, your machine contacts the tracker and asks for a list of seeds and leechers to connect to. A private tracker is a tracker which requires registration at the website before you can use the torrent. Such trackers sometimes check for users' IP during connection as well. Zeduga is a public tracker. We do not require registration to allow visitors to download. However we provide additional feartures for registered users like torrent uploading.
How to upload a torrent?
First, use this article to create a torrent. Some old trackers from the article don't work, so it's better to use following ones first:

- udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
How legal is it to download torrents?
It is legal to download torrent files. However they may link to copyrighted material which may be illegal to download and/or upload. It depends on a country. If you do not want any problems with national and international laws, it is advised not to download any copyrighted content.
How do I increase the download speed?
There are lots of tricky ways to get your torrent running faster. Easiest ways to do it are following:
- Get the latest stable version of your torrent client program.
- Set a torrent port somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000 and allow it in your firewall and antivirus software.
- Set a limit for uploads as they affect your download speed.
Which torrent client is better?
There are dozens of torrent client applications. There is probably no "the one" or "the best" application, so here is the list of the most popular ones:
- uTorrent (utorrent.com)
- BitComet (www.bitcomet.com)
- BitTornado (bittornado.com)
- BitTorrent (www.bittorrent.com)
- LimeWire (limewire.com)
- Vuze (azureus.sourceforge.net)
- Deluge (deluge-torrent.org)
How to burn data on a CD/DVD that will be playable in my home player?
You should use programs like Ahead Nero, Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator or any other burning software. You should create a project that is called something like Audio CD or DVD (NOT Data CD, MP3 CD, Data DVD, MP3 DVD) and the program will convert the data to a necessary format automatically. Also remember to burn data to CDs and DVDs that are supported by your player. Some players don't play CD-RW or DVD+R.
