BYD is entering the South Korean market with three models
The Chinese electric vehicle giant is entering the South Korean market, which has already caused concern among local manufacturers.
According to the Consumer Insight Institute, Koreans would choose BYD as the electric vehicle brand from China if they could buy Chinese cars.
Until recently, the BYD Korea division sold commercial vehicles in the neighboring republic: forklifts, buses and trucks, now it is the turn of passenger cars.
Sales are scheduled to begin in January 2025. The first to enter the market will be the Atto3 electric crossover, after certification, the Seal sedan and the compact Dolphin will become available to customers.
Earlier, we reported that BYD plans to increase product deliveries to Germany in the next six months, despite EU trade sanctions.
