Official images of the new interior of the updated Xia minivan from BYD have appeared. The car itself, with the remark MPV, i.e. multi-purpose vehicle, will be presented on November 15 at the Guangzhou Auto Show.
We spied what the interior of the new BYD minivan looks like
The BYD Xia hybrid minivan was first presented at the Chengdu Auto Show on August 30. At the end of September, BYD dealers began accepting orders for this model. The price range is $40,250–$48,600.
The new interior of the BYD Xia matches the design of the Denza Z9 GT interior. Its center console uses a three-screen layout with a large suspended display for the driver and an independent touchscreen for the front passenger. There is no information about the interior arrangement of seats in the updated BYD Xia minivan.
The BYD Xia minivan has a distinctive style with a large trapezoid grille and elongated headlights. This car boasts impressive dimensions: 5145 x 1970 x 1805 mm, wheelbase - 3045 mm.
BYD Xia will be equipped with the DiPilot ADAS system and the DiLink 150 cabin system. The suspension uses an electromagnetic DiSus-C system with adjustable softness. BYD Xia has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 154 hp. Its electric motor provides power up to 268 hp. The Xia minivan is equipped with a 20.4 kWh LFP battery for an electric range of 80 km. The fuel consumption of the Xia MPV is 6.5 liters per 100 km.
