Here’s one you don’t see everyday! This 1939 International Station wagon wheel as custom built for use at US national parks. Approx ten were built and split between Yellowstone and Yosemite National parks, their job was to shuttle passengers from the train station to the hotel. Nearly all others were wooden body construction while this is primarily a tin woody with wood roof.

Possibly the only one made. Easily identifiable as a parks vehicle with two tale side mount tire and three door configuration.
This rock solid vehicle as made into a hotrod many years ago using an early Camaro front clip, 350 Chevy engine with auto transmission, AC power brakes, power steering and more make this a very driver friendly vehicle. The previous owner drove this car all over and cruised the interstates in style and comfort.
Any alterations done by the previous owner maintained a vintage look with largely original interior, wide white walls and more. Over the years the paint has been primed and touched up but gives it a nice patina.
The car was in storage approx 15 years or so, and was last titled in Tennessee. The odometer shows approx 22,000 miles.We have cleaned the fuel system, drained and reclined the tank and added a new carb. The car starts first turn of the key and drives and stops as it should.
The positives: incredibly rare vehicle, stunning looks, nearly rust free and incredibly solid, and excellent upholstery, mechanically sound.Added features include wide white wall tires, power brakes power steering electric wipers, fog lights, air conditioning and more.
Issues: AC pulley is noisy, headlights are intermittent, front clip was welded strong and has lasted 30 years however modern ships may recommend plates be added. Several of the headliner bows have signs of repair or minor cracks.
In all a very nice, and very rare vehicle needing only minor finishing.Last title is from Tennessee currently located in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Legally imported with duties paid.Whether you are in US or Canada this is a fantastic find that you will not see again for some time!
