Finding an old knucklehead Harley stashed in a garage, old barn or under a tarp was once commonplace. However, the very limited supply was taken up by collectors and restorers in the 1980's and 1990's. Shiny paint and new chrome were in, and many underwent repaint and rechrome. The market for well worn and well loved machines has only gotten tighter. Many collectors around the world have come to realize the rarity, charm and investment value of these old American icons. When was the last time you saw one for sale or on the road in this condition? How about a pair? If you follow the trends on these bikes you recognize what a rare opportunity this is. Add in the extra parts and if parted out the value certainly exceeds the sale price. To be clear, I have no need to sell these, but I have found a passion for fast cars and these motorcycles will likely not see the light of day under my ownership so I have decided to part with them. My guess is that 10 hours of labor spent on each of these bikes will have them on the road again. Much of the hard work has already been done -- rebuilt engine, new correct cloth wiring, new tires, rebuilt wheels, etc. No expense spared. See full description below and only bid if you can buy. Full payment expected within 7 days.
