1953 Hudson hornet 4 door this has been off the road in a garage since 1966. Unfortunately the roof it wasunder developed a leak and caused a lot of rust in the rear of the car to the point that the car really is beyond saving whole. there is a rothole in the roof and thetrunk and right rear frame rail are severely rotted.I am selling this as a donor car there is no title for the car I will provide a bill of sale with it. I have run the twin h motor I can manually fill the carbs and start it and it will run until the carbs run out which is usually a minute. I have run it a few times and it runs quite well there is a mechanical oil pressure gauge on the dash ad it reads 40lbs when its idling. there are no knocks or unusual noises from the engine. I installed a new cap and rotor and serviced the points on it. the water pump is seized and the air cleaners are missing as well as the front fender badges. the interior is complete the door panels are salvageable as well as the entire dash, this is a hydramatic car which was the best combo for this. the trans had leaked out most of its fluid from sitting and I didn't refill it to test it since the car has no brakes. it has 2 flat tires but does roll with out any issues from the brakes. the glass is all in good shape with no cracks or delamination. the car has a bunch of good trim on it and a nice set of window rain guards on it. all and all a great donor to convert your car to twin h or just for a Hudson collector to have spare parts. A $250 non refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. Please be ready t be able to retrieve the car do not commit if you don't have a way to get it to you.
