This is a Matching Numbers 1956 Triumph Tiger Cub project with 6,602 original miles.

It is well over 90% original with all of the little hard to find pieces still there and reusable. The sheet metal is all original and dent free with a light surface rust. The gas tank has rust on the inside but looks useable with cleaning & sealing. It still has the original Lucas headlight lens, foot pegs including passenger pegs, and the original wiring is still mostly intact. It even has a nice pair of nearly impossible to find Triumph tank badges. The engine is stuck, I would assume from sitting. The bike rolls on what is left of the original tires. This is the perfect candidate for a complete restoration or mechanical restoration with sheet metal left as is for the "Patina look". It is for sale as a project with NO TITLE. I REPEAT, THERE IS NO TITLE! I will give a Bill of Sale. This is worth so much more than my starting price in pieces. If I was smart or greedy, it would already be disassembled and sold in pieces. It is way to complete for me to do that without offering it as a whole bike first. If it doesn't sell, I may part it out. It is located about 20 miles west of Martinsville Virginia and is for sale AS IS WHERE IS. Shipping and shipping cost is entirely the responsibilityof the buyer but I will help load.
