This beautiful Greeves Scottish 24TCS is a true survivor, very original, and is a great little runner. I regularly take it out for a short ride, the last time was two days ago and it starts easily and runs as it should.
The frame and engine number match the factory records, which indicate that it was Dispatched to a dealer on 20/10/1959, and was first registered four days later on 24/10/1959.The frame and engine number match the V5C, which is in my name and address. The bike is recorded on the Greeves Survivors list.

The engine is a 2-stroke Villiers type 32A 250cc
This bike is road registered and in roadworthy condition.
It has not been used for trials since March 1991, when my Dad bought it, he used to trailer it to motorcycle shows and ride it around the arena, Iinherited it in May 2014, but I am not a trials rider, and it’s time to move it on.
The only item I am not sure is original are the light-weight Akront rims front and back, which are in great condition and look fantastic.
The bike has worked for a living in the past and so has some dents, scratches and chips, some on the tank have been touched in but are visible, and the chain guard is dented near the gearbox. A great runner ready to go, but there are a few small flaws, please see the photo’s as they form a very important part of the description.
The bike has a standard side stand fitted, and the separate upright stand in the pictures is included.
This motorcycle is far from new so no warranty is given or implied. This is a private sale of my own personal motorcycle which I acquired in 2014.
