1960 Triumph TR3ARotisserie Restoration and Low Miles
When it
comes to nostalgic English sports cars there is nothing more sporty than a 1960
Triumph TR3A. For those that don’t know
it, 85% of the TR3’s were exported to North America because the car was
basically designed for the North American sports car enthusiast. The seating
position allows the tallest of collectors to be able to be comfortably seated
and everything ergonomically just seems to fall into place. The healthy four cylinder starts, runs and
brakes as it should. Interesting feature
is that a push button under the hood can also start the car. TR3’s are meant to be driven briskly and they
never disappoint. Even though the
hydraulically operated clutch makes for an amazing smooth engagement and take
off. The acceleration in the little Triumph
can be neck snapping and the brakes will always impress.

reference to the details for this 1960 Triumph TR3A
Only 2481 miles since the rotisserie/frame off restoration
about four years ago.
The interior was done with a luxurious and pricey leather
interior.
The dash is also leather except for the original style
“wrinkle paint finish” where the gauges are located.
This TR3A the first gear is synchronized.
The wiring is all new.

The convertible top made from Stayfast cloth has only been
up twice, once for the photos. The side
curtains also made from the Stayfast cloth are new and have never been used and
not installed.
