Used 1964 Buick Electra 225

Seller Description

This classic 4-door,
pillarless 1964 Buick Electra 225 was imported into Australia for inclusion in my
classic car collection. When built, the Electra 225 represented the ultimate in
luxury with electric windows and front-seat, magic-eye auto headlight dimmer,
aircon and cruise control (the air-con and cruise control are now disconnected).
This particular car left the factory with the optional Wildcat 465 performance
Nailhead V8 coupled with the original 3-speed auto. On arrival in Australia, the
car was given a fresh paint job by a local restoration shop – satin white body with
a metallic orange roof. The roof also received some custom lacing and an Ace of
Spades mural. In addition, some matching Tiki-inspired pin-striping was added
to the bonnet and boot lids. The interior was re-upholstered in vinyl including
new door-cards, carpet and a fully-trimmed boot. The car has proven to be very
reliable and runs and drives great.
