1965 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible, (not original) 455 Oldsmobile motor, automatic
trans, original G80 positrac rear, Special
order Iris Mist (code P) color repainted about 10 years ago, peeling and
chipping in a few areas. Brake booster
and master cylinder were recently replaced with a safer dual reservoir system, original booster / MC that
was leaking is included. All new brake lines and hoses, car stops well. Power Windows and top all work, all gauges
work, recently tagged, title reads 38K original miles, odometer reads 42K, I can't verify if either of these are accurate, or the mileage on the motor.I have put over 2,000
miles on it in the last year, runs and drives great, no smoke or unusual
noises, just the deep rumble that it should have and plenty of power. Frame is
solid, I recently had a small area professionally replaced that had rust damage from a
leak in the top, floors, trunk and most body panels look solid, lower rear quarter panels are rusted
out behind trim, rust in the rear wheel wells,and there is some bubbling paint on the front lip of the hood that would be from rust. Missing letter "L" on the hood, all otheroriginal trim is intact although some dented or scraped. Dent on the left rear quarter,
drivers door edge is chipped, paint lifting off back edge of hood. Car has mostly
been garage kept, and has never been wrecked or involved in a major accident.All interior is intact, and in good shape,
seats were recovered at some point, no rips or tears. dash is good with no damage, original
carpet is decent although faded brown in spots, hole in rear left of top,original AM radio is not
working, gauges, clock, and speed buzzer work. Original build sheet included! Top boot included, Good tires.
