Used 1966 Triumph T100 Used 500L

Up for sale is one almost perfect condition, fully custom,
1966 Triumph 500 chopper. I’ll start
with the front end and work my way back.
The front end is originally from a Honda 750. It has new 6” over fork tubes with all new
seals. The tubes are held on with custom
made chrome plated triple trees. The
lower forks and the front hub have been smoothed and polished. The used but in very good condition front rim
has been laced with new spokes and has a new front disc brake with stainless
brake line. The headlight is an old
style Guide 682 repop with the top beacon.
These were commonly used on old street rods back in the day. The gas tank is welded completely to the custom
frame and was perfectly smoothed in. It
has custom forward foot controls and linkages.
The brake pedal was machined out of solid brass to look like a military
bullet.

It has a jockey shift setup on
the right side slightly behind the seat.
It’s pretty easy to shift once you get used to it. All paint on the frame, headlight and sheet
metal is semi-gloss DuPont Hot Rod black urethane. The custom flames and striping were done by
hand in preparation for a big bike show.
Other new parts on the bike are the hand stitched seat, chrome kick
start arm and pedal, Zeppelin tail light, chain and new white wall tires front
and rear. The rear wheel and hub assembly
are not new but were re-chromed years ago and still look very good, but there
is some pitting and are not perfect and are probably the only things on the
bike that don’t look to be in near perfect condition. It has custom made hand wrapped exhaust
pipes, new coils, new Boyer electronic ignition and a new carb. The engine and transmission have been
completely rebuilt.It runs and sounds great and
turns heads everywhere it goes.
