**Real Deal** SS matching numbers 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport. Paint Code 76, Daytona Yellow only available in the SS option. (Only 2,841 Chevelle SS were believed to be built in 1969 in Dayton Yellow code 76) Original matching #s 396/325 hp L35 “JK” code engine, Engine stamping is TO304JK 039Z [hidden information]. original matching #s TH 400 transmission. Transmission stamping is 039Z[hidden information] . Correct 3.31 CW code rear end. Rear end stamping is CW 0228B. Odometer is showing 84k, I can’t verify that as original mileage, but the odometer is working properly. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Disc Brakes in front, Super Sport wheels that I believe are original, new BFG tires with less than 200 miles on them, cold A/C converted to R134, Heater works great, New RetroSound radio which looks factory but modern. I do have the original radio also. $5000 worth of recent maintenance with receipts. Work includes: replacement of A/C compressor, system flushed and charged. New guide plates, rocker studs, push rods, and valves adjusted to factory specs. New alternator. Ignition timing adjustment. Replacement of both rear wheel cylinders, New front brake calipers, New brake fluid hoses front and rear. New front wheel bearings. New aftermarket Retro AM/FM radio. New mufflers and tail pipes. New fuel tank sending unit. New heater hoses, New battery. New BFG tires with less than 200 miles on them. California car with Zero rust, no bubbles anywhere. I can’t find any bondo anywhere. As far as I can tell it’s all original metal. Built at the Fremont California factory and shipped to Barton’s Chevrolet in Yorba Linda California. Minor scrapes/scratches/wear from daily driving but very straight and solid. All the gaps align nicely, all the panels match color wise. It’s not three different shades of yellow like some vehicles. Everything works like it should: lights, markers, wipers, etc... It drives and brakes nice and straight. It doesn’t leak a drop of anything, trans shifts smoothly. Interior is perfect, no rips or tears in the seats, headliner and carpet are excellent, dash is excellent also with no cracks. Windows are all in great condition, no cracks chips or fogging. The roll up and down easily. The doors shut perfectly with the push of one finger. No need to slam which I hate. I also found a partial build sheet and soft trim broadcast sheets under the rear seat. Previous owner before me owned the car since 1989. Been in NC the whole time. I have owned the car since last November. Always garage kept, the only time it saw rain was the day I bought it.
