For sale 71 Mercury Cougar XR7. The car has a new rebuilt 351 Cleveland engine, rebuilt C6 transmission not to long ago. Car runs and drives, but not road ready. I drove around a block it runs fine drives smooth, then i notice oil drops from the engine, apparently we had the oil pan bolts tighten by hand temporary without a gasket so we can finish the torquing of the head bolts, totally forgot about it, and dropped it in a car just like it was. So needs oil pan gasket. We put some silicone to stop the leak temporary but still you can see oil drops. The car needs to be towed. It has new soft top, it's an A/C car that needs attention, interior is all there in white color but needs new upholstery. No rust, California car. I sell projects, this one is a light project, and nice color combo. Extra parts, from another cougar is also goes with it. Please don't ask me to itemize them. Paint is in fair condition, right front fender has an obvious chip. (see photo). Title is lost, so bill of sale only. Don't ask me to get a title don't have time for it. It is ease to get one in California, I'm sure other states also. Overseas buyers can get bonded title need to pay few hundred Dollars ($300 aprox.), i can give you the contact info. Good clean, nicely done examples sale for over $25000. This one doesn't need much to make it a nice classic. So I'm gonna sell this NO RESERVE so highest bidder will take it home.
