For your consideration I have listed a 1972 BMW R75/5 Toaster tank. This bike is totally original barn find bike that was not running when I got it. It had been sitting for at least year. I had the entire bike gone over including checking everything for safety, sealing the tank, rebuilding and synchronized both carbs and clutch adjustment. Of coarse a full service was done 15 miles ago. Tires are new and everything else was fine. Over 1500.00 in recent receipts. It is totally original and unrestored so it has a lot of character and gets a lot of thumbs up. She runs and drives great. For 48 years old I like it just the way it is without being restored because it shows 48 years of patina and really is in excellent condition. A full restoration would be easy on this bike if so desired mechanically great and all parts are there. Basically just a repaint. Fully restored this bike is at least 10-12k. I think that it shows it’s age well. The battery is new too. No tears in the seat. Tool kit included.
The previous owner claimed the 24k miles were close to original because the odometer stopped working right before being parked. The Speedo needle is broken too. I really went back and forth whether or not to replace but decided to let the new owner make that decision. I was concerned how a reproduction speedo would look. Rides stops and starts well. No smoke or leaks.
I’m only selling because I have another toaster tank just like this one in my collection that I’ve had many years and just acquired a lot of non running bikes for my collection so needed the space and time to get theses done. I don’t have to sell the bike but figured it should be passed on to someone that can ride it more often. Clear title is in hand in my name.

be/psccwbVCLTsEach one of these bikes is a little different starting this bike likes full choke on cold start and warmed up well before decreasing the choke. I sometimes even ride it a bit before cutting the choke back until she’s fully warmed up.
