Super fast crazy fun! 12.6 sec 1/4 mile!This car had 4 years worth of work done to it, until it ended up with this turbo engine, Here is the long story of this car, pick up from a barn find about 10 years ago, no rust, excellent shell, took it home and fixed the engine with 1.8 from a 87 Scirocco with low milage, I was happy for a year… the following two years I kept the enginebut changed and upgraded internals, changed pistons to increase compression to 13.5 and reached 220Hp, of course that was not enough…Than I ended up changing the block to a 9A 2.0 bottom from a 92 GTI that I ended up boring to 2.1 and installed lower compression pistons 8.5 and used an 87 head with dual overhead that was reworked for better air flow,cleaned, changed to larger valves and install a turbo and did all the plumbing myself! added 034EFI stand alone injection and electronic ignition. changed suspension and of course mufflerDrove the car for a day and broke the transmission.. change transmission to 020 5 speed with LIMITED slip differential (LSD) with tempted reinforced gears and 4 puck clutch and all done, sort of…added water injection to cool the intake, and added additional auxiliary radiator with a fan.This car is running in its current condition with this engine and suspension for 5 years! And about 800 miles,Extremely reliable!!! Bullet proof,Fires up every time with no issues! ( the plugs do get fouled up and need to be changed every year)most recent, Brand new OE fuel pump and alternetorExterior paint is in mint condition! no scuffs or door dings, but car does have a couple of dings-paint chips on the front bumper and on the front hood has a paint chip from a screw that too long on the inside... (see pictures with the hood and the arrow)This car is for serious drivers! when the boost kicks on at 3.5K the power shoots up from 100HP to 342 at 6.5K! Its a lot to handle for a novice driver! ( originally the car came with 74HP on its 1.7L) so there's a lot of torque steer! nothing a driver can't handle! but challenging for a novice! so if you're not an experience driver in auto cross and or in drag racing, that car is not for you!Car will come with two! ( 2 ) sets of wheels! as shown in the pictures. one is a set of 15" BBS from 92 Corrado the other is a stagger set of 16 8" front and 9" backIt comes with Original paper work from 82! the invoice and the owner manual

Car has 2 programmed boost setting, Jet fuel setting, and regular fuel setting. Different mixture, Different max boost.All in all I must have spent over 30K in parts and thousands more in labor and I HAD TONS of fun racing and just kicking around town with it, getting lots of looks and cheers, now I have a baby and its time to move on. This is not your typical car flipping sale, I owned and cared for this car for almost a decade. its been inside a garage for all that time.
