THIS BIKE DOES NOT COME WITH A TITLE. Unknown mileage or hours as there is no odometer. Up for sale is a 1984 Can-Am 250 ASE (Air cooled, Single shock Enduro), manufacture date of 12/83. It is believed that only 200-400 of these machines were produced in 1984. This has the 250cc Rotax engine serial #[hidden information]. This machine starts, stops and idles. It runs good and has a lot of power. The guy I bought it from said he was having clutch problems... he didn't elaborate. I adjusted the cable and rode it around my property with no issues ~ NO guarantees I'm just saying I didn't have any issues shifting through the gears on my short ride, tires are shot/weather checked so I didn't push it. The kill switch shown in the photo is obviously not original, it was added by previous owner. Rear fender is loose/moves up and down so not sure if it's original. I do not know these bikes well enough to know what parts are original , missing or aftermarket so please look carefully at the photos. It has AKRONT rims that appear to be in nice condition. In my opinion this bike needs general maintenance and TLC however it is a great platform to start with for a restoration. Bike is located in zip code 59072, all shipping arrangements and associated costs are buyer responsibility and at buyers expense. I can hold the bike for up to 30 days until you can arrange for shipping. If you need longer contact me before you purchase so we can come to an agreement. A $250 deposit is required at sale end to hold the bike and balance must be paid for within 3 days of sale end or bike will be re-listed and sold again.
