Engine just tuned, 4x4 works (EXTERNAL LOCKING HUBS), a/c and heat work (note: a/c blows, but only slightly cold), original AM/FM cassette works.
Cool beige TOYOTA-branded tool kit, very 80s radical. I resisted liberating it from the truck.
2-year old respray in metallic blue, about a 7/10
titanium alloy wheels from an early 4Runner, but original Aisin locking hubs. Nice tires in good condition.

THE BAD:
slight miss in cylinder no. 5 at idle. The issue disappears under load, and I believe the issue to be exhaust-valve related.

VERDICT:truck is in good condition, especially for a 1988, and the "Toyota tax" on this one is almost non-existent. This is a good deal.
