This Classic Jeep is in fantastic condition for its age, beautiful all original North Carolina car. The exterior white paint is in great condition and the cordovan leather interior is also in wonderful condition. This car has power door locks, power windows, power rear tailgate window, power seats, stereo system with CD, a/c and heat, power steering and tilt steering column. The interior is in amazing shape front to back including a new headliner and the original cargo cover. All windows and door locks work perfectly. The rear gate window works with both the front switch and key switch on the gate. Mechanically, it runs and drives great.Engine has 6,000 miles on a re-manufactured “crate” AMC 360 engine, with 192,000 miles on the rust-free chassis. Everything works as it should.The prior owner resprayed in 2016 and replaced woodgrain with Cheyenne Teak. The car runs and drives well.

I purchased the Jeep as a project with intentions to install a modern Hemi motor and transmission but project has been stalled due to medical reasons. I gathered the maintenance history from the prior owners, and paperwork was provided that confirmed the motor is a new re-manufactured "crate” engine which explained its excellent original condition with only 6,000 miles. Carfax and Autocheck will show 2 alerts:1. June 1996 115,223 miles exceedsmechanicallimit. This issue was the result of a mistake by Virginia DMV recording an odometer rollover with five digits (00,000). You can clearly see in pictures the odometer has six digits (192,XXX &1/10th). I've contacted Va DMV about this issue, and with some in person legwork an affidavit can be obtained to clear this alert.2. July 2018: While the Jeep was at a service station awaiting pickup after being serviced, it was backed into with minor front fender damage in July 2018 (photos available). The owner was persuadedto take a payout instead of repairing the minor damage and a total loss claim was filed November 2018, which was used to pay off the mechanics bill. (copyavailable). I purchased the Jeep from insurance company February2019 and have made the repairs which included replacing the front drivers fender with original parts. The damaged driver fender is available, but I have installed an OEM fender in great condition (will need woodgrain to match).
