1997 YAMAHA YZF600R
Mature owner - downsizing my collection reluctant sale of this unmolested YZF600R.
In storage for the last few years this bike has just undergone a recommission service;
Fuel tank cleaned and filled with fresh fuelFuel tap - cleaned and new seal kit fittedFuel filter - replacedSpark Plugs - 4 new plugs fittedCarburettors removed, cleaned and refurbished with new jets, needle, gaskets and sealsBattery - newEngine oil and filter - newChain and Sprockets - clean and lubricatedAll electrics work as they shouldBrake pads, disc rotors and tyres all OK.
This bike starts and runs really well. Anyone who knows this model will confirm the ergonomics are just perfect. Steering, brakes and controls are silky smooth. I've ridden many bikes and this model YZF600R performs so effortlessly... you'll feel comfortable from the first ride. I believe they will become a "collector". Do a google search and check the specifications... these bikes are amazing. In todays styling... it's more "touring" but performance is exceptional, better or equal to a newer bike.
Currently unregisteredEverything works and it would pass a roadworthy.Selling "as is". It could go interstate or become a track bike.
Inspection and test ride (a quick lap around the block) is welcome to mature riders.
