Seller Description

Here is a nice Audi Allroad 6spd manual with 99,200 miles on it (less currently, but may go up with test drives etc.).*REVERSE AUCTION* It is in very good overall condition, has current VT inspection, no codes, readiness checks are all green. Despite the fact that the car and I are in Vermont, it has never actually seen a VT winter, I brought it up from Connecticut and it was in the garage all winter with battery on a tender while I worked on it.
In the past thousand miles between previous owner and myself.-New Arnott front air bags-New air compressor for suspension-All new front suspension (8 A-arms, end links and tie rod ends)-Professional alignment-Timing belt, tensioner, idler, water pump, accessory belt, valve cover seals, cam seals, cam tensioner pads & seals-Air filter, cabin filter-Coolant flush, new expansion tank, a few coolant sensors, a few coolant hoses up behind oil filter-New Genuine PCV spider hose, green vacuum valves-New Brake rotors & pads F&R-Fuel Filter-Engine oil/Filter (Liquimoly)-Transmission/Center Diff oil (Ravenol)-Rear diff fluid (Ravenol)
I have additional pictures of a valve cover off camshafts which I thought looked quite good with little to no sludging, as well as screen shots of VAG com showing, no codes, readiness and cam phase (timing is good).

The negatives here are mostly cosmetic type stuff you would kind of expect from a car of this age. It's a classic 5 footer, looks pretty good in the pictures, but upon close examination has plenty of dings, dents, scrapes, scratches etc. I've tried to picture some of the worst of them, but they just don't show up that well. There is one tiny spot of bubbling on the roof which seems a strange place, but I've pictured it and it seems to be the only hint of corrosion if that's what it is. Probably the worst ding is the passenger side rear 1/4, between fuel filler door and rear bumper there is a pretty large but very shallow dent that looks like a parking lot bumper brush. I've been told that what modern PDR and paint correction can fix is amazing, and it seems likely a lot of the blemishes could be addressed this way, but I haven't pursued it. Other items that aren't perfect are the center console fold up cup holder, key fob (there's only 1) looks very rough and doesn't work remotely, broken roof antenna, drivers side visor clip. I recall from when I ran a carfax before purchasing it last fall that there was a report about an incident with the passenger side rear door area, I only know what I saw on the carfax, but the door operates as it should and things look pretty good around it to me.
Seats, carpet and other interior items are all pretty good, no pixels out in center display, headlights are clear, wheels are genuine RS6 with Dunlop 245/50 R18 rubber in good condition, however the grey on them was not professionally applied, they look ok, but didn't have a lot of work done prior to coating and there are some paint imperfections for sure, I don't think it's plastidip.
I purchased this car when the previous owner realized he was in over his head after he installed brakes, front air springs (Arnott Gen 2) and air compressor. Car was leaking and needed timing, valve cover, tensioner items and front suspension. I've had a few of these, and another high mileage, modified one currently, so had the tools and experience to get the job done and keep it on the road. Because it's less than 100k miles and a manual too, I thought it was worth saving from the junk yard for somebody else to enjoy. It's no show car, but hopefully it will go to a good enthusiast home and either turn into a monster or be enjoyed for the rare thing that it is. I have tried to take the time here to be as thorough and transparent as possible, but ask additional questions if you have them and I'll try my best to answer them.
Test drives are welcome, however please no offers, wait the reverse auction out until it comes down to a price you are willing to pay. I'm happy to help facilitate pick up with a shipping company that YOU HAVE ORGANIZED.
