KNOWN ISSUES
The oil pan is leaking, I do have an OEM gasket that will come with the car, but it is leaking from the rear. I am unsure if the rear main seal is leaking as well. About 3,000 miles ago, the transmission started to feel a little lethargic, especially in 5th gear, almost as it was not fully engaging. The only code thrown was for torque converter locked, due to slipping. Roughly 2,000 miles ago, I opted to do a transmission fluid and filter job.

The inside looked immaculate with hardly any metal debris. This did not change the issue at all, the car literally acted the same, not worse, but a little better between shifts. This leads me to believe that the Torque Converter is leaking, but I do not know, due to not fully inspecting it. The Check Engine Light is on due to a partially clogged catalytic converter on bank 2. I say partially, because examining the O2 sensor values between pre-cat & post-cat, the difference is marginal, but still enough to cause a check engine light.
Cosmetically, there is a small dent (from a baseball) on the driver side door, and the rear bumper has a paint issue on the passenger side.
The car was in a minor accident (no airbags were deployed) with the rear driver side door and quarter panel. This was professionally repaired by a certified BMW shop and comes with a craftsmanship warranty.
Overall, this is a fantastic vehicle for anyone! I drove it mainly highway, and it was a great cruiser, with the early 2000's BMW sportiness. This 530i has been a fantastic vehicle, but I do not have room for it now.
