2004 Civic for sale - leather seats, 9 months MOT, one previous owner!
This is the SE Executive model with leather seats (heated in the front), electric wing mirrors, electric windows front and rear. It is an incredibly reliable, solidly-built car that is in good condition for its age. It has never been in an accident or broken down. It runs really well and drives nicely. It has recently been MOT'd (Sept. 2020). The car has been a faithful servant and I am only selling as we have a new baby so need a more child-friendly car.
Vehicle history:The car was bought new by my father, and I have owned it since 2013. I used it regularly for commuting to work, but for the past two years it was declared off the road as I was working away from home and wanted to save on tax and insurance. It was stored, covered, in an underground car park. I got it back on the road in September this year and had the front brake pads replaced as they were quite worn, as well as the near-side suspension coil as it was cracked. I also replaced the battery with a brand new one.
Vehicle condition:The interior of the vehicle is in great condition for its age. The leather seats are in great condition and the seat heaters work perfectly. There is a mark on the centre console around the cigarette lighter.
There are a few scuffs and scratches on the bodywork, and a small patch of rust on the bottom of the rear passenger door. There is a bit of a dent on the driver's door. There are also quite a few small stone chips on the bonnet and around the wheel arches, which have accumulated from normal use. There is some minor rust around the rear wheel arches. I have tried to show all of these in the images above, but I can provide further photos if necessary.
A couple of the alloys are quite scratched.
The heat shield from the catalytic converter has also been removed as it was rattling (I have this, and can provide if you want to re-attach it, but it's not essential)
Other points:- I only have one key- The air-con needs charging- The front number plate is quite scuffed (but is clear and legal)
