Seller Description
This is a truck I " inherited" from my rich friend because it became uneconomical for them to fix it. I managed to fix the stuck variable vanes that prevented the engine to develop power.Even though the issue with the stuck vanes have been resolved and there are no engine error codes showing the engine still does not develop full power. It drives ok and eventually accelerates to 100km/h or 60mph . The engine starts easely .It does not smoke at start up. I did a blow by test that I saw on YouTube where you take the oil filler cap off and flip it up side down placing it back on it's place . If the engine has blow by it will blow the cap high in the air while the engine is running. With this truck the cap stayed in it's place no problem. The engine does have a hissing sound coming from the turbo area. . So I am guessing that it is loosing boost hence the sluggish acceleration. It drips a little bit of engine oil.It drives well the steering is steady, braking is excellent, the 4x4 is awesome when engaged. The tires have lot of tread left on them in my opinion. Since I am moving back to Europe I will not have the time or the money to make it work 100%.Take a look at the pictures and note the cracked windshield, minor scratches and the dented roof .
So bid accordingly. For potential US buyers I might be able to drive it to your nearest US/Canada border crossing for the cost of fuel plus a return air fair or bus ticket. Unfortunately I will not cross into the US because of the paranoia of this VirusThanks for looking and good luck biding.
