Seller Description

*DETAILED DESCRIPTION UPDATE BELOW*
2009 Audi R8, V8, 6 speed R-Tronic, high mileage but extremely well maintained. 100k miles
H&R coilovers and KW magnetic ride delete.
Headlights have been upgraded to the full LED v10 version and coded to
the car, no warnings on the dash and all features work as they should.
20” Vossen CV3-R wheels.
Full chrome delete, gloss black exhaust tips, RS style mesh center grille.
Custom two-tone side blades.
Stasis exhaust, amazing sound over stock, not obnoxiously loud.
I have an Excel spreadsheet listing all
the parts replaced and even some pictures of the repairs along the way.
The R8 hit a rock in the roadway and caused some undercarriage damage.
Everything in the car functions as it should and you would never tell
it’s been in an accident.
Feel free to ask any questions 916*719*1540

*I was asked to give a little bit more details about
the car so I’ll try to cover everything!*
It runs and drives flawlessly, no pulling, shimmy, or shaking.
It is lowered so you have to be conscious of driveways and speed bumps but it
is manageable. I welcome
pre-purchase inspections on the buyers dime. I will take the car
in for a PPI but I will not leave it overnight. Everything works in the car as
designed. A/c blows cold, heat is hot. No warning, malfunction, or service
lights on the instrument cluster. The driver seat shows minor wear but in great
shape given the mileage. Some interior trim pieces show wear that is typical
with age and mileage. There is a pencil eraser sized
chip on the hood where the hood meets the grill. A few minor paint chips
that are much smaller on the surface of the hood. The front and rear bumper
have been repainted professionally and show no road wear and the color match is perfect. The
left side rocker panel has minor scuffs, only visible if you’re down on your
hands and knees. The left side quarter panel aft of the side blade has a small
two inch scratch that is visible from less than 3 feet away. The right rear
quarter panel above the wheel arch also has a couple scratches less than 3
inches, also only visible when you’re up close. The right front wheel is the most blemished part of the car and I’m actively looking for a
replacement. The paint is peeling on two of the spokes. Again only visible when
you’re up close. The right rear wheel has a small section
of curb rash but completely tolerable. The left front wheel also has small
sections of paint peeling but also tolerable. The left rear wheel has no curb
rash and looks brand new. Overall I would rate the exterior at a 9/10 given the
year and mileage, same with the interior. The paint is ceramic coated and water
beads off very well. I’ve spent many hours maintaining, perfecting and
detailing this car and it shows.
Mechanically it needs nothing and I drive it
regularly. The tires have at least 80% tread and are wearing evenly. Engine oil
and filter done at 100k. The intake air filters and cabin air filters also done
at 100k. Transmission (the gear oil, not hydraulic) was done shortly
after at 101k, along with the front differential. I used factory Audi fluids
for the differential and transmission. The center radiator,
thermostat, and water pump were damaged in the accident and replaced with brand new Audi parts and complete coolant flush with correct
Pentofrost coolant. The thermostat/water pump assembly hang really low beneath
the car and, the impact from the debris on the road caused the housing to
crack. The brakes would be the soonest service aside
from the 5k standard oil change.

They have at least another 10-15k miles left
on them depending on driving. They don’t have any pulsation, shaking, or
noise but I just want to be honest. I park it in the garage and it does not have any leaks. It does have minor oil seepage from the rear main seal. Just to be clear, it DOES NOT leak but, if you look carefully at the bell housing, you can see a
little oil residue. It’s only seepage and I can’t
justify the many hours of labor for such a minor issue. I am disclosing every minor detail so you don't have any surprises upon inspection.
The exhaust tips are gloss black and painted the same
color code as the top section of the side blades. Tips are also clear
coated several times to better handle the heat. The side blades are one off and
I havn seen anyone else do this style color matched blade. It looks just as good
in person and the lines/angles flow with the existing body lines really well.
If you don’t like it you can have them painted any color you like or get carbon
blades. They are super easy to remove and take less than 1.5 hours to replace both
sides. The front and rear yellow/red side markers are painted black and clear coated, just like the side blades and tips. They
still illuminate when the lights are on but not an ugly orange/red
when they’re off.The grill is an eBay aftermarket gloss black
honeycomb grille. Quality and fitment look great. The headlights are also
a great upgrade and have a very distinct look over the standard projector beam
xenon. They are factory Audi OEM headlights from a V10 R8. This is an expensive and involved upgrade. They are coded to the R8 and function correctly without error messages.I can’t say enough great things about the exhaust. I was
hesitant to change the exhaust because I like the factory sound but I
am GLAD I did. It sounds amazing and not overly loud under normal driving.
Under hard acceleration, you get the highly desirable exotic sound that is
unique to high revving V8’s. Stasis did a fantastic job. If you pay close
attention you can even see the stainless piping through the rear vents in the
bumper, a nice touch.
I have one set of keys, and the owners manual. No cracks, chips or pitting in the windshield.
I have a California Salvage Title in my name, no lien holder or co-owner. It is fully insured with comp and collision
through Geico and my 6 month premium for adding the R8 as a fourth car was
roughly $700 for 6 months.
I have a half dozen offers at $40k. Please don’t waste your time or mine with offers below 40k it's not going to happen! I have the R8 listed locally and will end the listing early if it sells outside of eBay.I hope that covers most of the questions. If not feel free
to text, call or message. If you sent questions through the offer, I’m not able
to respond once the offer is declined so feel free to ask a question in the
listing.
