2013
Triumph Thruxton 900 with 4800 low miles and sidecar for sale-this is
the fuel injected model for fast and easy starts. The appearance of
carburetors are purely aesthetic and add to the nostalgic retro look of
the Thruxton model. This bike has been sitting since about 2015 but
after draining the gas and replacing the battery and adding fresh
ethanol free gas it started right up. It runs and rides fine now and
only has 4777 miles on it as of this writing but that will probably go
up if we get some more sunny days here in Kirkland, WA. Overall
condition is very good but it needs a detail and there are some scratches here and there; most
notable the left muffler has some rub mark scratches from shipping (see
pics) but the shipper bought me a set of very nice OEM original Thruxton mufflers and
they will be included in the sale. All the lights and electricals work
and comes with 2 keys and original owners manual. Clean and clear title in hand
ready to transfer ownership over to you.
The
sidecar is a 2008 Velorex (serial#[hidden information]) with what looks like a Ural or BMW
wheel. It isn't fully finished or as clean as the Triumph because it needs a seat to be functional unless
you have a dog which is exactly what the previous owner used this side
car for. You can see all the nail
scratches from her dogs paws on the left side of the cockpit edge. Keep
in mind the sidecar is removable so if you want just the low mileage
Thruxton then sell the sidecar for $1000 to offset the cost of your new
bike.
Starting
off with a low bid amount because you'll probably want to replace the
tires as I'm sure these are original tires and then grease the sidecar
wheel bearing for peace of mind. After the auction ends I can store
here at my home for 30 days until your shipper arrives unless this is a
local auction sale then just ride it home. I won't accept a bank loan check and a $300 nonrefundable good
faith deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Inspections and test
rides welcomed or ask any questions before the auction ends.
