Used 1995 Bentley Brooklands Used Diamond graphite 6750L Automatic Petrol Saloon

Here we have my Bentley Brooklands, presented in diamond graphite coachwork with fine lines in Magnolia. In generally good order for a car of this age and mileage, one or two age related marks but no dents or deep scratches, no visible rust. The magnolia hide interior in good condition, small hole in passenger seat. Greytop roll, magnolia knee roll. Grey carpets bound in magnolia hide. Woodwork is very good, especially the dash board, some cracks to the door tops but no missing lacquer.
This is a 1995 Bentley, a mark 111 having been first registered in January 1995. Consequently it has the later four speed gearbox with floor mounted change, a vast improvement on the 3 speed 'box. The car drives well, on start up the brake pressure warning lights illuminate and then go out as they should. The suspension sits at the correct height. On the road the Bentley pulls well, though a different animal from a Turbo 'R', it is by no means slow.
Mechanically the Bentley is very good having had 21 services, mostly main dealer, and a few by specialists, Mead of Burnham march 1995, 1093 miles, Appleyard Ripon 7051 miles (no date) , Ron Stratton Feb 1993 14,609 miles, August 1997, 18,193 miles, March 1998 22,130 miles, March 1999, 27,262 miles, May 2000 32,347 miles, November 2000 34,556 miles, Hanwell car centre December 2000, 34941 miles, September 2001, 40,143 miles, no date 47,494 miles, Bentley Glasgow April 2004 53,250 miles, Specialist March 2006, 65,763 miles, Bentley Glasgow April 2007 71,240 miles, December 2008, 80,796, Dec 2009, 84,810, January 2011 87,711 miles, December 2011 89,622 miles December 2012 92,226 miles, December 2013. 95381 miles, December 2014 98,198 miles. Sine then the Bentley has been used sparingly having covered only 2500 miles in 6 years.
Work we have carried out recently includes having a replacement steering rack fitted, rear gas springs, rear coil springs, fuel lines replaced, new battery etc. The rear discs and pads have been replaced, a very expensive and involved job. The starter motor fails to engage very occasionally but has never let us down. The air con needs re gassing.
All four electric windows work, unfortunately as with most of these cars, the central locking has stopped working. The passenger seat is fully functional , the drivers seat is not.

The ECU will need to be sent to Bowling Ryan in Bolton, or you could swop the driver and passenger ECU's this would give the added advantage of fixing the electric mirrors, a two hour job.
I had the Bentley mot'd in June 2019, but due to the current situation it has been extended to December this year. It has covered only 42 miles since the last M.O.T. The mileage may go up slightly as i am going to use the car, they get better with use!
So why am i selling ?
I have a collection of SZ series Bentley and Rolls Royces, currently 6 Bentleys including an Azure, two Rolls Royces including a late Silver Dawn which i will be listing soon, and have a passion for them. I am a member of the RREC (Rolls Royce and Bentley enthusiasts club) and have a stand at the annual rally at Burghley House, Stamford, every June. However, the rally is cancelled this year due to the current situation, consequently cars i specifically acquired for the rally need to go (or some of them) as i only have garaging for four. Two are currently in Leeds, in storage with my colleague, the last Crewe trained apprentice Rolls Royce and Bentley technician ! Six are here in Wallasey, Wirral.
This is our 'entry level' car, and as i am desperate for space I am listing it for auction to the highest bidder, no reserve !

On 17-Jun-20 at 13:44:26 BST, seller added the following information:Sorry, There is a mistake in the service history. The Ron Stratton service at 14,609 miles was in February 1997, obviously not 1993 !
Also the air bag warning light is on, this occurred when the replacement steering rack was fitted, just needs plugging in to a diagnostic machine and turning off, there is no actual fault.
