1975 Ford TD Cortina. 3.3L four speed. Top Loader gearbox. 221,000kms from new. Rare single headlight model. Has service history and books. Has rust in the usual places, but there are many spares that go with the car. These include rust free doors, guards and boot lid. There's also a windscreen and numerous other spare parts. Runs and drives. Will need a carby kit put through it of course, but apart from that it's mechanically sound. Tyres are very old and have cracks appearing in them.
Interior is in fairly good condition. The drivers front seat has not torn, but the stitching has came apart. A motor trimmer will be able to stitch that back together. Still has the original radio that works.
Would make a great car to restore or for a V8 transplant.
My son and I were going to restore this car back to original, but unfortunately I have done a nasty shoulder injury, and imminent surgery has put an end to my plans.These old Cortina's are a great alternative to a Falcon or Holden of the same era.
I will assist all I can with interstate transport. I'll even trailer the car to a depot if need be.Would love to see the car go to some one who will bring it back to it's former glory.Also
included is an XF Falcon Ute. It has an excellent 250 motor in it with
air-con and power steer. The plan was to use the engine and air-con,
power steer etc from the ute, and adapt it for use in the Cortina. You
would then have a fairly modern drive train with air-con and power steer.

This car has never been painted, and never been in an accident. You know exactly what you are starting with. Not something that's been patched and painted and is a mystery underneath.
I'll also hold both cars, and all the spares for the purchaser in dry storage, until such time as they can collect them. There will no time constraints on this given the current situation. You may take as long as you need. Car will need to be paid for though.
