1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau, 390 4bbl V8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering, brakes, windows and driver seat, factory dual exhaust, this car is running and drivable, offered as a restoration project or would be an awesome parts car if that's your desire, the 390 4bbl engine runs good, but the driver side manifold is cracked, the carburetor is new, installed last summer, the fuel tank has been replaced also about 3 years ago, the automatic transmission works and shifts good, the brakes work good, but I'm pretty sure it needs a new brake booster because they're grabby and don't release very well when pushed down, the seats are usable, but the front buckets are a little dry rotted at the top, the drivers seat is power, but presently not working, the passenger seat reclines and the whole top of the seat adjusts as a headrest, the windows are powered, only the passenger front window is presently working, the glass is all excellent condition including the front windshield, the dash and console are very decent and have never been butchered, still has the original AM radio, windshield wipers (air system) work well, the washer mostly there, but not working, swing-away steering works well, the headliner has been removed, rods are in the trunk and all of the rod placements have been numbered and marked, the carpet has been removed and the metal on the floor has been painted, the only rust issue in the floor was right at the driver front around the gas pedal as to be expected for a car of this age, the trunk floor has been cleaned up and painted at the same time, a couple small rust repairs made there, but definitely nothing serious, the original jack is still in the car, the front and rear bumpers are both very decent, the grill a little bent, but not too bad, the vinyl roof is still on the car, but would be best to replace or remove it eventually, I've glued and patched it up with rubber baseboard until that time comes, the sheet metal is all good shape, the paint is original and looks rough, the primer is showing through on most of the car, the only rust issues on the body are front and rear of the fender skirts, original spinner hubcaps all there and very good, 15" tires and rims all around, tires are old school bias ply, fronts are not too bad, but the rear are very poor, I know my write up is very long winded, but the pictures are a big part of the description, make your assessment and use your judgement, still a solid looking car, but will have all the characteristics of a 56 year old vehicle so don't compare it to the new Landau sitting in your driveway.
