welcome to the reluctantsaleof my 1998 HondaintegraDC2 type R in championship white!only reason for this sale is that i am to be losing my licence and will not be able to insure myself on a "type R" so it needs to go but needs to go to a good home!
This car has one of the most comprehensive service histories that I have seen with a vehicle.
FULL Honda main dealer service history since new, I bought a second service book from Honda for the services that I have completed since owning.
There are many, many receipts, including ВЈ1,400 for a gearbox rebuild, new clutch, the list goes on. Take a look at the pictures, the receipts pile is an inch thick. Comes with red key, AND red fob programmer, both still sealed.
Does not burn a drop of oil and will come with 5L of oil ready for a change as i have had it done every 3k miles! Very strong engine, that I have taken care of.
In my ownership I have replaced with all genuine Honda parts unless otherwise stated. I have only replaced with non-genuine, when those parts have been discontinued, and are no longer available:
Red H badges
All external stickers
Rear bumper support bar - no saggy, ill-fitting rear bumper
Complete suspension front to back, all bushes/arms replaced with genuine Honda, for a small fortune
Bilstein Shocks with H&R springs
Rear brake calipers
Bolster foam to both seats

I also removed as much of the wiring harness for the engine back as I could whilst I was conducting a front-end rust removal process, I replaced all the tape, and reinstalled it with all new clips.
I have extensive photographs of me removing a lot of items on the car, cleaning, refurbishing and then reinstalling. As mentioned before, everything was stripped off the front of the car, I ground down and removed rust and then repainted it.
Headlights were removed and re-polished.The rear arches have never been done. There is no current evidence of any rust to the exterior, but this is a 90s Honda... there is probably something hidden, full disclosure. There are also a couple of marks to the exterior that I would want to point out. If I was to keep the car, I would probably get all this done... the front lip has a scrape, the paint on the centre caps isflaking off and there is a small "dent" on the rear arch which someone has previously tried to repair! by the looks of it there is a little bit of surface rustbeginning on the rear arch but very minimal... ask for apicture ifyougenuinelyinterestedin the car !
The car was used as my daily driver which turned into a weekend car as i bought another car asididn't want to ruin this integra as it is a very fine example! The car has performed faultlessly, and I will be sad to see it go, but I hardly use the car (450miles between last MOTs) but i just will not be able to insure the car for areasonable price again for a long time so it does need to go!
