It has come to that time where I must sell my S2000 with Oem hardtop and stand with cover, reason for selling is due to company car and owning a campervan which means I just do not get time to use the car and give it the full attention it deserves !!The car is the 2004 facelift model with just over 100k miles on the clock.The colour is Silverstone silver with theblack/red interior
I have owned the car for over 4 years now in which time I have kept the service up to date with all receipts for parts/ etc and the engine has never missed a beat, it has been amazing fun to drive it this is one car that definitely gives you smiles per mile! Thecar has been kept as standard as possible with only upgraded parts that compliment the cars performance listed below.
car has had in my ownership;Clutch and lightened flywheel.Upgraded engine mounts - Vibra technics HD rubber mounts not the bone shaking poly bushes! Original mounts kept to go with car as spares.Discs and pads all round, they are Stoptech pads which are a good upgrade from standard better bite and heat resistance.SS braided brake hoses in blue all round.Toda timing chain tensioner recently which resolves known issue with the TcT internals wearing.
K&N cone filter in the oem air box with internals modified for a better sound.Reconditioned rocker cover and new gaskets.Carbon cooling plate with Tegiwa alloy radiator.Blue silicone intake pipe as the original split.
The car has a Pioneer Mvh-X370bt Bluetooth car stereo with hands free calling built in(not DAB), I have kept the original stereo to go with the car.The soft top roof is the original it has some signs of wear and small repairs but does not leak! it would benefit from a new roof at some point.As with any car of this age there are a few bad points to list, I think they are minor issues and anyone who knows S2000's know they have some common issues, one of the main reasons for selling is that I feel bad I do not have the time or money nowto keep the car as it should be kept so I will be as honest as possible with what needs doing and is also reflected in the price of sale.There is a small tear in the drivers side carpet from where the floor matt holder comes through the carpet.The wheels areoriginalbut tatty and could do with a refurb but are structurally sound and straight with very minor kerbing. The tires are legal but will need replacing in the next few months possibly longer.Bodywork is sound with no rusty rear arch problems and has also had to boot floor treated and painted to prevent rust in this area, the underside of the car is in need of a full underbody clean and underseal keep the car rust free.Exterior paintwork is in good condition some very minor dings in the doors(probably from supermarket), the front bumper is in need of a respray due to bug damage and stone chipping, the bonnet also has some stone chips. The OEM hardtop also has one small ding in it from something landing on the roof, I am pretty sure it can be fixed by paintless dent repair.The windscreen is a bit hazy from bug and very tinystone chips but is totally in tact with no cracks and may even be able to be polished out with a glass polishing kit.S2000's suffer from noisy drive trains which mine is no exception, I have replaced the diff with a second hand 2009 low milage one only to find it was a drive shaft problem which was replaced(have 2 spare for rebuild)and all was ok but I think the shafts are in need of reconditioning now had you can feel on deceleration the CV joint wear, the spare diff and drive shafts I havewillgo with the car. The gearbox is a bit notchy when cold from 1st to 2nd but goes away when warmed up, in all honesty it will probably need to be recondition in the future but is fully functional as it is.I also have some upgraded parts I fitted but removed and put back to original as it made the car uncomfortable to drive for, some might agree! Skunk2 megapower full SSexhaust with decat pipe and sound reducing bungs, all is tip top condition as its been in my shed for quite a while!upgraded poly bush gearbox mount , worked perfectly but transferred too much noise into the cab for my liking.

A diff collar kit that reduces movement of the diff on acceleration, these were removed at diff change but were not a problem and worked very well, I just didn't get round to refitting them!
The car has been my pride and joy which is why I need to sell it as I just cannot justify keeping it when I do not have the time and money to look after it in the no expense spared way I have in the past.I will be pricing the car to sellwhich I think is fair for a car of this age and condition with all the spares etc.I would highly recommend coming to see the car as this a good 2004 exampleand now is knocking on 16 years old!!I have been honest in this advert and if I have missed anythingI will update the advert as necessary, please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.I feel it is a car very much worth looking at and they are appreciating in value so could be a good investment for someone any inspection welcome.
