Bike is in as new condition and has been subjected to a complete restoration with the exception of the engine which was already in excellent mechanical condition.

New tyres, fork seals, sprockets, drive chain, wheel bearings, hand grips and luggage rack with Oxford top box. New Motobatt battery and 12 volt socket for battery charging.
Fitted with a USA manufactured electronic Trail Tech instrument system which incorporates an accurate speedo, tacho, odometer, trip meter, clock and lights for oil pressure, water temp, high beam and indicators. Original instrument set as shown in the pictures accompany the sale.
Fitted with a new radiator and temperature indicating radiator cap
Fuel tank is NOS and as such is in perfect condition both inside and out
Fitted with A Musarri exhaust system specifically designed for this model of GPX250. This exact Musarri exhaust system is still being offered on eBay - Check the price for yourself! The bike also comes with the original exhaust system which is in good condition and finished in heatproof satin exhaust paint.
Rubber tank protector and knee pads are items specific to this model and were purchased from a supplier in The USA.
The engine has covered very few kilometres and is in excellent condition throughout. The only engine work carried out apart from a routine valve clearance check and adjustment was the replacement of the original cam chain tensioner with a manual type and the replacement of the original clutch with one from a 2012 model. Both these modifications were carried out to eliminate the only two weakness known to effect this model.
Beautifully presented, low mileage, useable and reliable high performance classic that could easily be used as a daily rider or placed on Historic rego for club rides and rallies.
Bike has covered 5000km since the restoration and runs perfectly. The bike is located at Bungendore NSW near Canberra and is currently on historic registration which is not transferable. Local pickup and will assist with pickup. Bike is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to withdraw this add if sold through another source.
