Moto Guzzi 850 'Special'
A fully restored, classic 'round barrel' Guzzi.
Fitted with a Le Mans II petrol tank, humped seat and several sensible upgrades, this mild 'cafe racer' style Guzzi is a treat to ride and is in excellent condition.
The frame & engine numbers are matching and she has been very sparingly used since the rebuild.
No scratches, dings or dents.
During the restoration the frame & swinging arm were powder coated, the engine, gearbox and final drive were completely rebuilt.
More recently she has had fresh new paintwork in the style of the 750S3 / 1000 S
A new pair of Pirelli Sport Demon tyres (still not scrubbed in) are fitted to Borrani flanged alloy rims with stainless spokes.
My Guzzi has de-linked brakes as per most other bikes, with a new, correct master cylinder, new brake hoses & fluid. (I de-linked the brakes as personal preference, but all the parts to put them back to factory std go with the bike).
This is not the usual tired, worn out Guzzi - the bike looks great and runs really well and needs nothing.
I'm selling the Guzzi unregistered as she is currently on Club Rego which is not transferable, but she passed a roadworthy check less than 50klm's ago, so getting a new one would not be a problem.
The bike is advertised elsewhere, so I must reserve the right to cancel the auction if she sells.
