Bought unregistered (plus donor vehicle) from farmer friend for son to make roadworthy and register. Now he's driving my old Hilux KZN 165r so we'd rather put the time and effort into that vehicle. Was going to convert external regulated alternator to internal...and the research was as far I got. I'd upgrade to a Landcruiser alternator, which fits.Mainly needs cosmetic items to get up to scratch as far as I could tell...replace carpet (still have old carpet), door latch/cards etc. Seats are still good, front and back.Haven't had over a pit to check bushes / rubbers etc, but everything seems normal. (was nsw registered a couple of years back)Rust looks only to be surface. Nothing in the gutters, windows, bottom of panels as far as I can tell. Found one 20cent size in front passenger floor which has been completely cut out and a new piece welded in by local qualified fabricator. From what I can find out, this vehicle has been in the Riverina/country all its life.
