VERY RARE 1962 Vauxhall Cresta PA, Holden Australia built and re-fitted
with a 3.

3L straight 6 Holden Red Engine. Whilst not in perfect or show
room condition, it is in very good all round condition throughout for a
59 year old car.
Very sought after model in a gorgeous blue and white
colour combination, there are very few of these left on the road in
Australia, when last did you see one ?
I recently bought this car to put back on Historic plates and enjoy, but
haven't gotten around to it.
Since then another car has come up for
sale which I've always had my heart on so this one has to sadly be moved
on to free up funds.
Previously restored approx. 10 years ago, and still looks very good
throughout, if anything it could do with a closed door respray as there
are a few chips and imperfections in the paint, but it definitely passes
the 6ft inspection.
It is a unique and gorgeously shaped sedan which turns heads and gets a
lot of comments and questions wherever it goes.
Very solid and straight rust free body (I haven't haven't seen any rust
at all), with no dents or damage.
It's 3.3L straight 6 cylinder engine coupled to a 3 speed Trimatic
auto have both been recently re-done along with a new drive shaft
installed and updated cooling system and gearbox oil cooler, it purrs
and runs like a champ with plenty of grunt and is super comfortable to
drive.
The Interior including carpets, seats, dash, headlining, door cards etc
all in very good condition with no tears, damage or stains.
All stainless and chrome in very good condition as can be seen in the
pics.
The only issues I can find are the speedo is not working (I suspect the
cable) and the driver side sun visor is missing, other than that
everything is there and working.
Recently on non transferable historic registration, but not currently
registered.
Must be seen to be appreciated for a car of this age.
Included in the sale are all the workshop manuals and a boot full of
odds and ends for the car.
Would suit a collector, but would also make a great, comfortable daily
driver.
