This 2013 Ford Focus Electric is an original. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is used as a daily driver.
Seller's Notes
It’s paid for with title in hand. It was an off lease vehicle when I bought it about 4 years ago. It will still get close to 70 miles on a charge if you drive modestly. It maxes out at 82mph. But you get torque all the way up. Very fun car to drive.

21kw battery pack on wheels! Ultra rare electric blue 2013 Ford Focus Electric being sold as is.
This Focus has the “Stop Safely Now” glitch. Usually every 6 months to a year this error will pop up on your display and require you to pull over.

Turn car off. Hold power for 30 seconds to reset the computer. Then carry on. Ford has a recall on this problem and it has been “repaired” four times already but it always comes back. Very dangerous on city streets so time to get rid of it since it is now out of the 8 year warranty.
Once it starts doing it again, it happens frequently until Ford does the recall fix. Then it will go away for awhile.
My local Ford dealer won’t work on it. I have to take it to the “electric car experts” 50 miles from here and drop it off for two to three weeks. Their expert is only in once per week…..never will buy an electric from Ford again but I digress..
The 21kw battery pack was replaced under warranty about a year ago. I’ve only put about 5k miles on the refurbished replacement. The last one sprung a leak so Ford replaced the whole thing.
This was still my favorite car besides my Bolt. Lots of torque and very fun to drive. Since I got my bolt (with comma 2 self driving option) I don’t drive the focus much. We had been using it as a battery backup for the house. I have a 3kw inverter that will stay charged from the high power pack if you keep the car on. Great use as a mobile battery backup or power source.
But not worth it to me to keep tags and insurance on so got to go.
Tires are in great shape. 12v battery was recently replaced. A/c still blows cold. Only problem I am aware of is the Navi card isn’t being recognized anymore.
Would be an awesome demolition derby car if you got the money to burn. Or a fancy electric golf cart for the beach. Put some knobbys on her and have a blast!
