All brake components replaced or reconditioned.Never had seat belts or indicators fitted - trafficators operate well.

New tyres.Serviced recently. New water pump fitted.
This car will sit on 70mph all day, and has been on interstate runs of 1000k plus.It is not a show car, but a very reliable and interesting classic which will be fun to drive, or be a great basis for an easy restoration.Compared to early Holdens, these cars had a full chassis, 16 inch wheels, full instrumentation, synchro in 1st gear, electric wipers, 12 volt electrics, decent size radiator, heavy duty gearbox and diff, and a renowned wet sleeve motor. A 15 gallon fueltank was also standard.
It has an ordinary but presentable paintjob, the interior needs reupholstering, it sometimes gets jammed between 1st and 2nd gear if you're not careful, and it needs new door rubbers.
But for a fraction of the price of an early Holden, you can have fun watching them disappear in the rear view mirror.
Sold without registration or roadworthy certificate, but it will not need much to get one.
Car is located 45 minutes west of Bendigo, and 2 hours from Melbourne. Happy Bidding!
The starting price is the reserve - you are bidding to buy.
