Seller Description

Up for sale is my black 2001 Subaru Impreza WRX, i have owned the car for nearly 2 years now.
The body(shell) is completely original it is black with a Blue pearl and nothing has been resprayed or repaired. The front guards, bonnet, front bumper, front radiator support, headlights tail lights, boot and spoiler are all off a blobeye sti, and appear to all be original paint(gold pearl) as well. The rear bumper is off a black hawk eye.

And rear spoiler(vane/roof) and rear flares are off a hawkeye sti. All parts are geniune. Car was originally a bugeye. Has aftermarket replica subaru one piece weather shields. Has a sti front lip extension and side skirt extensions bought from ultrex. Car has the original space saving spare wheel in the boot(like new).
The wheels are 17" 2006 hawkeye WRX wheels, which need new tyres. Has new discs and pads up front. Dimpled and slotted rotors, with bendix ultimate pads, only a couple of months old. It has maxspeedingrods(ebay) coil overs adjusted at a good height(spanners to adjust height will come with), i bought these only as i did not have the 2k needed to get the ones i really wanted at the time, and they were a lot better than the standard worn out suspension. There are a few creaks here and there but they aren't all that bad.
The engine is completely stock and has never been modified, since owning the car i have changed these parts this year, the spark plugs(iridium), inlet manifold gasket(genuine), throttle body gasket(genuine), both rocker cover gaskets(genuine and very expensive), rear end main seal(genuine), all coolant hoses with new silicon ones, all vacuum lines with silicone ones, bleed clutch fluid, bleed brake fluid, recently had an oil change(full synthetic) and oil filter. New gearbox oil, new front ball joints, new walbro fuel pump. New idle speed controller. Car was originally an automatic when i bought it with a broken transmission. I put in a low kilometre 5 speed matching diff and gearbox from bug eye wrx, including of course the master, slave, flywheel, pedals etc.... The cluster was also swapped over so it reads around 170,000(from the donor car)Installed also at the time a brand new excedy replacement standard clutch, which feels very strong. Since the manual conversion(nearly 2 years ago) Ive had the engine light on with code P0866 - TCM Communication - high circuit because there is no longer an automatic computer plugged in. This has caused zero problems other than the light on the dash. It can be disabled with a laptop and a tactrix cable.
The interior is in amazing condition for its age and kilometres, seats steering wheel dashboard and carpet are all in great shape. Has an OEM subaru double din headunit touchscreen(the volume down button doesn't work, but it is also touch sceen so no big issue).
The Good:*Engine is strong and healthy despite having high kilometres, has been an automatic its whole life other than the measly 10k i have put on it since ownership, still has original turbo.
*Gearbox works perfectly with no issues, quite tight changing gears is effortless, no crunches.*Body is in pretty good shape, no clear coat coming off but as i have used second hand panels for most of the car there is scratches and marks on a few places. It is definitely not a show car. A few small dents consistent with age, the right hand side of the rear bumper has a nasty scratch...but no real big dents or damage on the entire car.
*Exhaust is a 3" from the turbo back, i have the silencer in as it is quite loud with just the canon. Very quiet with the silencer in. Car had the original exhaust system when i bought it.*Interior very good*Put 6 months registration on it today*2 keys plus spare*Brant alarm removed(hole left were it was removed on plastic trim)
The Bad:*Noisy wheel bearing that needs to be changed(think it is back left)
*Needs a timing belt kit(it is due for one been 9 years)*Oil leak from the front of the engine(cam seal more than likely, will be fixed with a timing belt kit)*Tiny chip in windshield
*If you fill the car with a full tank the cabin smells a little like fuel(has been like this since i bought it) if i fill half or 3/4 no problem*Clock always resets*Central locking only works when the car is on acc or on.*Thermo fans dont turn on(this will cause the car to overheat if you were sitting in traffic on a really hot day)
*No air condition(no condenser) electrically works fine, it turns on but the condenser was taken out and never put back in.
*Since installing the new coil overs the car hasn't had a wheel alignment and is a bit out.
The car starts and drives well, idles well(800 rpm). Is pretty quiet once warmed up with no noises. Genuine reason for sale, car will not blow up on your drive home, i have done many long distance drives without any issues. Has never been modified or harshly abused. New timing belt kit, wheel aliment and wheel bearing and the car could last many more years to come. Have come to the point where i don't have time to tinker and fix cars anymore, as life has gotten in the way. Car is located in 2087, happy to have people inspection at convenient times.
