Selling VG Valiant Sedan : No Reserve
Project or Parts car :Base for a project, restoration, or parts.
Had car
for a while, has been used as an everyday driver, weekend car and sat for a
while (I have other old play cars). Put away &
last rego’d about 4 yrs ago when rust became too bad. Time to move it on to someone who can use the parts or restore
245 motor, auto. Disc brake front end. 9 /19706-Seater with centre fold down arm rests back and front.Car Starts easily, will idle and revs out.Doesn’t seem to blow any
smoke and didn’t use oil when last road used although has some hemi valve noise
and motor is tiredCar has always had regular oil changes etc since I have had it.Car is an Auto on Column & selects gears, drive, reverse, neutral
all OKFront brakes only (Disc). Rears
are blocked off at proportioning Valve. Handbrake works (not too bad)
Car is
low, wound right down at front and lowering blocks on rear.
Tow bar
fitted. Exhaust system seems OK (No hole noise)
All
headlights, blinkers, gauges, brake lights etc work.
Speedo,
dash lights, horn all work. Heater core is bypassed, fan works on one speed
only. Fuel gauge shows level then jumps and flickers.
CD player
works (Has old amp, sub woofer, 6*9s etc)
Rear
seats are good, Seat back and fold down arm rest is great with some small tears in seat base.
Front
seats are worn. Seat Back & folding arm rest are great with some big tears in
base & springs sagged out on drivers’ side.
Front
carpet is stuffed, rear is 50/50.
Rear door
trims are not bad for an old car and fronts have speaker holes
Front
kick panels are homemade items.

Car will
be supplied with old battery that can be jump started.
Kidney
style Rims.
All glass
seems OK.
Door
surround external side stainless trim is good.
Car has alot of rust, The floor pan seems quite good (Except boot section). Worse
parts arePlenum both sides. Under dashPassenger side rear pillar and
down into the rear door jam.Drivers side rear pillarUnder rear window both sides but
passenger side is worse extending into boot.Passenger side boot floor and boot
lid surround under rear window.Both rear fenders behind wheels. Also in front of rear wheels.Front fenders at sills and blinker eyebrows.All DoorsBonnet leading edge. Boot leading edgeRoof turret both sides between
doors. - right thru into door jamsSurface rust and pitting on most parts and rust in
other areas, see photos for a better idea.
Have a heap of photos, esp of interior,
rims, close ups of rust areas, underneath, door jams etc.Can only post 12 photos so tried

Mileage is 68214, no sure if correct. Not implied as accurate.
Speedo has a kms sticker stuck over original gauge face

Car will
be sold as a whole, I can’t be bothered parting out but even though has
extensive rust still plenty of bits on it when added up, Steering Column,
Glass, rims, trims, Seat bases, Wheel etc
This car is advertised elsewhere and reserve the
right to remove prior to auction end if bidding has not commenced.
Once a bid is made the auction will run to end.
Nowarrantyis implied or given. No
returns. Car is not rego’d & would not pass without a heap of work, sold as
is, project or parts car.
